Silat Wassel organized two training sessions on February 28 and March 19, 2025, in collaboration with the Point Talake Initiative, under the title
“Religious Freedoms: What Are the Common Grounds Between Islam, Christianity, Bahá’í, and Yazidism?”

The training was presented by journalist Noor Safi El-Din, an expert in media ethics and freedom of religion and belief, who works in media development and human rights across the Middle East and South Africa.

The training covered:

• The importance of understanding common denominators between religions

• Enhancing conversation between different beliefs

• The role of media in covering issues of religious freedom with professionalism and respect

• Building discourse that respects religious diversity and supports the right to freedom of belief

This training is part of Silat Wassel‘s efforts to promote a culture of religious pluralism and respect for diversity by empowering journalists and those interested in freedoms and rights.
