Silat Wassel platform has released a guide that highlights the most prominent climate terms used in the United Nations conferences on climate change, most recently COP29. The guide aims to help journalists and researchers accurately understand these terms, contributing to bridging the knowledge gap and delivering information with clarity and professionalism, in line with the public’s aspirations for a deeper understanding of climate change challenges.
The guide aims to enable journalists and researchers to provide professional media coverage of the events and outcomes of COP29, offering in-depth coverage that includes reports, investigative pieces, and other journalistic formats addressing climate issues.
The guide was prepared by Hoda Abdel-Ghaffar, a PhD researcher in environmental sciences and a journalist at Silat Wassel platform, and designed by Reem Sonbol .
