With the growing rise of digital threats<\/strong>, digital security<\/strong> is no longer a luxury but a necessity for every journalist and media student.<\/strong> <\/p>

Between April <\/strong>and June 2025<\/strong>, Silat Wassel<\/strong> organized a series of five virtual trainings<\/strong> delivered by trainer Fahmi Al-Bahith<\/strong>, targeting journalism students as well as male and female journalists from South Lebanon.<\/strong><\/p>

Throughout these sessions, participants gained essential skills to protect themselves digitally<\/strong> and learned about tools and techniques that help strengthen their digital safety while performing their journalistic work. <\/p>

The series resulted in three in-depth journalistic reports<\/strong> produced by the participants, addressing topics such as digital safety<\/strong>, personal security of journalists<\/strong>, and freedom of expression<\/strong> in digital environments. <\/p>
