Silat Wassel<\/strong> organized two training sessions on February 28<\/strong> and March 19, 2025<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Point Talake Initiative<\/strong>, under the title
“Religious Freedoms: What Are the Common Grounds Between Islam, Christianity, Bah\u00e1’\u00ed, and Yazidism?” <\/strong><\/p>

The training was presented by journalist Noor Safi El-Din<\/strong>, an expert in media ethics<\/strong> and freedom of religion and belief<\/strong>, who works in media development and human rights<\/strong> across the Middle East and South Africa.<\/p>

The training covered:<\/p>

  • The importance of understanding common denominators between religions<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • Enhancing conversation between different beliefs<\/strong><\/p><\/li>

  • The role of media in covering issues of religious freedom<\/strong> with professionalism and respect<\/p><\/li>

  • Building discourse that respects religious diversity<\/strong> and supports the right to freedom of belief<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul>
